ROB CORDDRY’S NEW TV SERIES, CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL GUEST STARS THE AJUKU GIRLS AS DR. BLAKE DOWNS’ (CORRDY) DAUGHTERS

Comedian Rob Corddry has a new TV series that premiered last season as a web series on Warner Brothers TV. The show, Children’s Hospital was slated to be picked up by Comedy Central but when negotiations drug on a deal was struck with Turner Network. The adult comedy show goes to television late summer 2010. Though the show guest stars upcoming American pop stars, the Ajuku Girls as Rob Corddry’s (Dr. Blake Downs, the Clown Doctor) daughters, don’t be fooled into thinking this is a children’s comedy show. It is not.
This week teen heart throbs, the Ajuku Girls guest starred opposite Corddry in “Bring Your Kids To Work Day.†According to the show Producers, the Ajuku Girls were “spot on and did and AMAZING job†both acting and singing their original single, 11:59. According to the Ajuku Girls’ Producer, Suzy Sachs, 11:59 will release late this summer as well.
Rob Corddry is one of a team of writer, producer and directors on the new series, Children’s Hospital. The new series is currently filming in Los Angeles and will begin airing later summer 2010. Corddry is a comedic actor who started out as a quirky correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. His upcoming film, Hot Tub Time Machine with John Cusack, Crispin Glover and Chevy Chase releases March 25th 2010 in the U.S.
The Ajuku Girls are an American J-pop group formed by Producer, Suzy Sachs. Their first single just released through iTunes. The group is known for their quirky, upbeat personas, fun lyrics, Japanese influenced fashion and music. The Ajuku Girls are also produced by mega hit producer, PJ Bianco who broke the Jonas Brothers and produces Katy Perry, Mitchell Musso, Demi Lovato and others.
