The Santa Monica International Tango Holiday (The SMITH), a three-day tango dance & music festival which attracts tango aficionados from around the world will take place in Santa Monica Friday,May 6th through Monday, May9, 2011.
The festival features internationally renowned dancers from Argentina and musicians from throughout the US all of whom will teach and perform. The SMITH will also include a Tango Boot Camp for first time dancers interested in learning to dance tango.
Festival highlights include: Free Beach Party, Argentine tango classes for all ages and levels, dance performances, live music, all night dance socials, yoga classes, folkloric classes, dance shoes & clothing vendors.
