Mario Cavolo Performing Throughout the Asia Pacific Region. He will be in LA on February 9, 2011
Bearing a compelling message on the power of expression, Shanghai-based communications advisor, media talent and jazz pianist Mario Cavolo begins the U.S. tour of his Catalysts To Change keynote performance on February 9th at the Lucy Florence Cultural Center in historic Leimert Park from 7 – 9:30pm. Fusing jazz piano with poignant cultural insights and anecdotes on the rise of Asia, the program delivers a moving blend of music and wisdom gleaned from his life in China since 1999.

Organized and sponsored by non-profit organization Grassroots Community Network Los Angeles, the keynote message and performance by Cavolo on jazz piano will also be accompanied by veteran blues guitarist Robert Dean. Cavolo will be live in studio on Grassroots Talks TV discussing his views on art and Asia’s rise led by China with GRCN founder Dr. Allen Brown, who said that, “As a guest for several weeks on our TV & radio show last year, Mario’s messages from across the Pacific were felt deeply by our viewers and now we’re finally working with him side by side delivering those messages to support the community.” Tickets for this fundraiser are $20, with proceeds benefiting GRCN’s youth programs. Call 323-293-1356 or (mob) 562 293 7595.

Celebrating more than a decade based in China, Mr. Cavolo is uniquely qualified to speak on the power of leadership and communication as it relates to the economic and cultural rise of Asia. As CEO & Senior Advisor of KBC China Shanghai Co. Ltd since 2002, he provides strategic and media communications advisory to global executives across the Asia Pacific region. He is frequently engaged for corporate events, TV productions and was interviewed in 2010 by Bloomberg Television for his views on China’s changing socioeconomic landscape.

In 2010, Cavolo received two notable appointments; selected as an Expert Resource Speaker for the Vistage International CEO mentoring organization and listed as a media certified expert with News Certified Exchange news media resource for journalists worldwide. His articles on China, cultural influence and current affairs are featured at RickAckerman.com, MarketOracle.co.uk as well as his own business blog.

With his corporate client advisory successes regularly crossing over to more creative media and entertainment pursuits , Mario has made a variety of Asia regional TV and concert appearances include his Chinese New Year TV commercial for Wang Wang Taiwan Foods conglomerate now airing for its sixth consecutive year, as pianist for Korean megabrand Lotte’s latest CF ad with Korean music artists Rain and cellist Song Young-Hun Hong Kong, a feature role with Hong Kong superstars Eric Tsang and Cecilia Yip in the hit CCTV mini-series Crazy Dancing Lady, and touring his jazz piano concert across China’s grand theater venues.

Mr. Cavolo will also be live in studio with Grassroots Talks TV on February 8th at 10:00am. He is available with HD webcam for Skype video interviews. Interested organizations and media outlets may inquire about bookings and interviews.
