This exciting day of horseracing features the “Sunshine Millions†return as the best of Cal-bred thoroughbreds battle it out in a series of stakes races including the Grade 1 Santa Monica Stakes.
Special invited guests include leading trainers, jockeys and VIPs from the world of racing. “Last year, our ‘Day At The Races’ was a big success and we’re back by popular demand,“ explains SHARE’s Chairman of the Board Mandie Rush.
Tickets are $100 and include admission, valet parking and buffet lunch. Tickets priced at $125 include a special tour of the paddock. Child admission is $25 (children ages 12 + under). Teen Admission is $50 (ages 13-17). All proceeds will benefit special needs kids in Southern California. The event and the first race begin at Noon. RSVP required by January 17, 2012.
SHARE, INC., founded in 1953, has raised over $48 million to help “at risk†youth, the developmentally disabled and the abused. Funds are also allocated to support research, prevention and vocational training and independent living skills programs for children in need.
