A whole new L.A. County Fair opens over Labor Day Weekend 2011 with an astounding assortment of exciting exhibits plus everyone’s classic favorites! (September 3, 2011 through October 2, 2011)
The sharks have arrived in Pomona! Welcome to The Great White Encounter Exhibit. Look into the eyes of a live shark and feel the fascinating and heart pounding experience of the L.A. County Fair’s Shark Encounter.
Discover the wonders of the great outdoors and explore the beauty of Mother Nature at Wilderness Ridge. The whole family can experience the exciting Timberworks Lumberjack Show and venture to Grizzly Falls to meet the Fair’s newest arrival, bears.
Meet Mojo, our very own Capuchin monkey and your official guide into Mojo’s Jungle! She will guide you through dense and impenetrable regions within the tropical jungle where you will encounter kickin’ kangaroos, slithering serpents and leapin’ leopards!
Then, take an imaginary leap back in time at the Bio-Research Facility in Jurassic Planet. Most of the dinosaurs are still secure, but be sure to keep your eyes and ears open at all times because you never know, a dinosaur could be lurking just around the bend!
And if that’s not enough then bring all hands on deck with Pet’s Ahoy when you join this animal adventure on the high seas! Pillaging pirates have invaded Bark Park—but don’t worry, we’ll let the dogs out!
Other attractions include the Carnival with more than 70 exciting rides; FairView Farms and Gabriella’s Bottle Baby Nursery; as well as wine-tasting at the Los Angeles International Wine & Spirits Marketplace.
The new 2011 L.A. County Fair is sure to have something for everyon.
