About us:
The Chicago School’s Counseling Centers offer affordable, quality mental health services to the communities within which they are located. The philosophy of treatment includes a dedication towards providing compassionate, mindful and ethical, evidence-based care to those served, and recognizing the need for innovation in approaching a wide array of real-world problems facing the communities served.
The Counseling Centers function as the Clinical Services division of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology’s Southern California Campuses. The school, founded in 1968, is nonprofit, nondiscriminatory, and holds state and federal tax-exempt status.
Programs for a variety of concerns:
Court approved programs, such as Anger Management, Alcohol or Drug Use Problems, Child Abuse, Domestic Violence, etc.
Others such as Anxiety, ADHD, Premarital Counseling, Trauma, Depression, Eating Disorders, Gay and Lesbian Issues, Intimacy/Sexual Functioning, Life Transitions, etc.
Services Rendered: Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Couples Therapy, Groups, Educational Groups, Community Lectures, Education
