A special loaded hot dog will be available at Dodger Stadium throughout the Los Angeles Dodgers’ four-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals, which begins tonight.

The St. Louis Dog is super dog topped with barbecue brisket, barbecue sauce and crispy onions. It will be available at the Extreme Loaded Dog locations on the field, loge and reserve levels.

The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive a Kenley Jansen bobblehead.

Tim Leary, who won a career-high 17 games for the Dodgers 1988 World Series championship team, will sign autographs in the left field pavilion plaza from 5-7 p.m.

The Military Hero of the Game will be U.S. Army National Guard Master Sgt. Patrick Chavez of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Chavez enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1995 as a motor transportation operator and served at Camp Futenma in Okinawa, Japan, and the Marine Corps Air Ground Center in Twentynine Palms in the Air Ground Support Element.

Chavez enlisted in the New Mexico Army National Guard after completing his service in the Marine Corps. He is stationed in Albuquerque as the operations non-commissioned officer in charge and senior enlisted leader for the New Mexico Counterdrug Support Task Force.

The series will be the Cardinals’ lone regular-season visit to Dodger Stadium this season. The Dodgers lead the series, 1,017-1,014, with 16 games ending in ties.

Auto gates will open at 4:40 p.m. and stadium gates at 5:10 p.m. for the 7:10 p.m. game. Pregame ceremonies will begin at 6:55 p.m.
