Teen World of Acting Performance Lab

Feel the excitement when your teens plunge into the specially-designed Santa Monica Playhouse after school World-of-Acting program, discovering the joy of unleashing their creativity as they study with theatre professionals in a supportive and dynamic atmosphere to create an original play based on the world they live in.

Through the world-renowned Playhouse acting method, members learn to build a trusting ensemble and create truthful characterizations. Program focus includes voice and movement and culminates in a fully mounted stage production. Added bonuses include a new fouDiana Silvers incorporates music into her theatre piecend sense of self, increased confidence, and a profound appreciation for the arts. Limited class size means every student receives personal attention, developing the ability to excel in performance on any stage and in any artistic endeavor – theatre, dance, musical performance, television, film – from school productions to the Broadway stage.

Playhouse alumni include Jason Ritter, Emily Deschanel, Jason Segel, Shana Feste, Rina Mimoun. Enrollment is now open for the Spring session which meets Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:30, Feb thru May.
