The Dixie Chicks will return to touring with an upcoming series of concerts that will include stops in Hollywood and Irvine next year, it was announced today.
The tour produced by Live Nation will begin at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, on June 1, 2016, and stop in more than 40 cities throughout the United States and Canada, with dates scheduled in such cities as Los Angeles, New York City, Toronto, Chicago, Vancouver, Washington, DC, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Boston and more.
The North American leg of the group’s world tour immediately follows the previously announced European tour shows.
Citi cardmembers will have access to pre-sale tickets beginning Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time through Citi’s Private Pass Program, a statement said. Tickets for the general public go on sale starting Friday at www.livenation.com. The concert series will include stops at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre and the Hollywood Bowl, where it will wrap up on Oct. 10, 2016.
It will be the Dixie Chicks’ first American tour in 10 years.
