The Friends of Greystone are slated to present Judy Zeidler, author, food columnist, lecturer, television chef, and co-owner of several well-known Los Angeles restaurants, as she shares a collection of recipes she gathered over the years from friends, chefs and other inspirational sources on Saturdy, Aug, 22, 2015 from 12:30 pm to 3 pm.

Judy, author of “Italy Cooks,” and her husband spend several months in Italy and France, each year, visiting restaurants, food and wine purveyors, making friends, and collecting new recipe ideas. She is a firm believer that the shared enjoyment of food and wine is one of the most fulfilling elements in life and that cooking and entertaining should be fun. Judy’s other books include The Gourmet Jewish Cook, International Deli Cook Book, The 30 Minute Kosher Cook, and Home Cooking with A French Chef, co- authored with Chef Michel Richard. Through her cooking classes Judy thrives to inspire her students to cook and entertain at home. Before Judy’s lecture in the Mansion’s Living Room, a light buffet lunch will be served. Parking is complimentary and guests are welcome to tour the first floor of the Mansion.

“Joys from the Garden” is sponsored by the Friends of Greystone, a non-profit organization dedicated to the continuing restoration and preservation of historic Greystone Mansion and Park. Ticket sales support all Garden Projects at Greystone Park such as the Demonstration Vegetable Garden, the Greenhouse, Historical Planters, Gazebos, Courtyard Fountain and more.

Tickets are available for $55 for Friends of Greystone members or $65 for non-members.
Advanced registration is required as space is limited. For more information, call 310.286.0119 or visit the Friends of Greystone website at www.greystonemansion.org.
