The Linq Hotel & Casino: A trendy new Las Vegas destination

Smack bang in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip stands The Linq Hotel & Casino, a cool and hip new addition to Sin City with trendy upgrades to its 2,253 rooms, a reimagined pool deck, all new dining and nightlife venues, and a modern casino floor.

Regulars to Las Vegas may remember the property as Imperial Palace and then its interim iteration The Quad during renovations.

As the saying goes, not one stone was left unturned leading up to its 100 percent completion last October; every room was stripped to its bare bones and completely built out with new walls, carpet, and amenities. But don’t worry about paying a fortune to enjoy this property; Linq is affordable while carrying a fun vibe similar to The Cosmopolitan across the Strip, but without hefty prices.

Each room at The Linq Hotel is brand new with views of the Las Vegas Strip or High Roller observation wheel.

A standard room, averaging 350-square feet and starting at $89 per night, features a fresh, modern design with floor to ceiling windows, boasting views of the iconic Las Vegas Strip or the High Roller, the world’s largest observation wheel.

The centerpiece of the room design are three distinct accent wall backdrops featuring stylized renderings of vintage Las Vegas signage, providing guests with a unique experience each time they visit the hotel.

Looking to indulge a little extra when it comes to accommodation? The Linq Hotel offers 244 suites and two unique penthouses along with 25 cabana suites with private access to the pool deck.

Positioned between Flamingo Las Vegas and Harrah’s Las Vegas, this convenient center Strip location of the resort also offers guests access to The Linq Promenade featuring more than 30 shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

The Linq Hotel & Casino is located at 3535 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, NV 89109.

With views of the High Roller observation wheel and The Linq Promenade, The Linq Hotel’s pool deck for guests 21 and over features two pools, a 32-seat center bar lined with four plasma televisions and full of signature cocktails, draft beer, frozen drinks, and poolside dining options from Nook Express.

The main pool boasts a wet deck with lily pad daybeds available for rent, while the second pool is accessed from a standalone elevated deck with tables available for rent as well.

There are 10 cabanas available for rent which include a large sectional seating area, personal electronic safe, plasma TV, USB port for phone/music player, built-in speakers, reserved chaise lounges, and a refrigerator stocked with bottled water and RESQWATER. There are also 35 daybeds that line the pool deck and include a personal electronic safe, a handy compartment to keep clothing and shoes dry, and built-in umbrella holders to provide shade from the sun.

Unwind at The Spa with Himalayan salt therapy

Facials, body treatments, massages, and even Himalayan salt therapy – that’s just a few of the indulgences at Spa at The Linq, Caesars Entertainment’s first brand-new spa concept since Caesars Palace’s QUA Baths & Spa.

One of the most unique amenities is the spa’s Himalayan salt therapy cave. Natural salt caves have been used for centuries to help with congestion, asthma, and other sinus conditions. Enjoyed by Europeans for centuries, salt therapy also known as halotherapy emulates the conditions inside a natural salt cave. This is done by infusing the air with small particles of the highest quality salt.

The spa includes separate men’s and women’s lounges. Both lounges have whirlpools, as well as eucalyptus steam rooms with cold, refreshing peppermint towels. Other spa guest amenities include a Harmonize Water Bar, tea options and zero gravity lounge chairs.

Aromatherapy enriches the experience of every spa treatment. The Spa at The Linq offers aromatherapy as a part of every service if requested at no extra charge. Guests have the ability to choose their desired scent and can incorporate them into their treatments to enhance the relaxation.

From infusion cocktails to craft beer, Linq Hotel’s nightlife excites

From 3535, a unique take on the lobby bar featuring 35 custom infusions and craft cocktails to O’Shea’s Casino that offers beer pong and live entertainment, there are plenty of nightlife options at The Linq Hotel to suit your mood.

3535 (the name is derived from the hotel’s address on Las Vegas Blvd.) is a trend seeker’s destination lounge, featuring a hand crafted selection of infusion cocktails, barrel aged spirits, wine by the glass, and a vast selection of premium and craft beers.

Also deriving from the 3535 name, the infusion bar features 35 custom made infusions used to make the most authentic and unique cocktails on the Strip. It’s all about experimentation and discovery, empowering guests with the opportunity to sample never-before-tasted flavors, select different sizes, order cocktail flights, and even customize their bottle service experience.

Featuring creations such as the Pig Newton, made with fig infused Jack Daniels Honey and ancho chili Makers Mark rimmed with a bacon salt mix, and the Mint Oreo Martini, made with Mint Oreo infused Skyy Vodka and rimmed with crushed Oreo cookies.

O’Shea’s Casino at The Linq Hotel offers beer pong, gambling, and live entertainment.

Meanwhile, O’Sheas offers guests dual-access to both The Linq Hotel & Casino and The Linq Promenade. It has an energetic and casual atmosphere that includes a large bar with more than 60 different beer selections, a separate outdoor bar that faces The Linq corridor, a beer pong bar with six beer pong tables, a dozen table games and a small stage for nightly live entertainment.

Pieces of the original O’Sheas Casino can be found in the new space. Look for the original marquee that has been refurbished and adorns the Linq side entrance; a hand-painted mural of the original O’Sheas hangs on top of the Lucky Bar; and iconic hammered-tin ceiling tiles have been repurposed and serve as decorative finishes on the acoustic panels throughout the casino.

Rounding out Linq’s nightlife options are Catalyst Bar for a spin on traditional cocktails, TAG Sports Bar for more than 300 beer selections and non-stop sports streaming from around the world, and Purple Zebra for frozen daiquiris.

High Roller headlines The Linq Promenade

Let’s get one thing straight – don’t call it a Ferris wheel or you will be quickly corrected when visiting The Linq Promenade, an open-air shopping, dining, and entertainment district next to The Linq Hotel. Much less bustling than Las Vegas Boulevard, the strip is anchored by the world’s tallest observation wheel, known as the Las Vegas High Roller. A first for The Strip, The Linq is a pedestrian-friendly district with a true neighborhood vibe and plays host to a variety of special events, festivals, and more.

There are more than 30 unique shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues that guests can explore as they make their way to the 550-foot High Roller, which offers breathtaking views of Las Vegas from a glass-enclosed cabin during a 30 minute ride.

In its first year, the High Roller has received many accolades including three Best of Las Vegas Awards for “Best Attraction,” “Best Amusement Ride” and “Best Place to View the City.”
