Newman Garrison + Partners (NG+P), an architectural firm with 25 years of experience based in Newport Beach, Calif., has hired Tom Greer as director of architecture.
Greer has over 30 years of creative design experience in all phases of architecture, master and specific planning, 3D visualization, graphic design and marketing.
Prior to joining NG+P, Greer was the director of architecture with Graham Downes Architecture, a multi-disciplinary design firm in San Diego, where he worked with mixed-use, hospitality and restaurant clients to provide multi-dimensional solutions to a wide variety of renovation and ground-up projects.
Numerous projects Greer has orchestrated have earned design and planning awards from the AIA, NAHB and PCBC including several Grand Awards and “Home of the Year†for Chiricahua at Desert Mountain in Scottsdale. Greer’s firm also donated professional services to low-income redevelopment projects in blighted areas of Los Angeles including Willowbrook and Compton.
Greer graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a bachelor’s degree in architecture and he is a registered architect in the state of California.
