Public health programs and interventions worldwide are plagued by problems of sustainability, and the events of this week will explore how we might use assessments, technology, and innovations in management to work together with local people in improving the efficiency and sustainability of healthcare.
The Third Annual Global Health Awareness Week aims to raise awareness about the issues of sustainability and health among students, clinicians, health professionals, and the public. The program this year features community service opportunities, workshops, a film screening, a gala dinner, and lectures given by internationally recognized physicians, researchers, and authors.
Events seek to inform participants and promote advocacy and action by facilitating communication and collaboration among students, health professionals, and members of the community.
All events are free and open to the public, though some may require a reservation.
