Watt Plaza’s New Leases Total $33 Million

Watt Companies has closed a $33 million deal to lease 75,000 square feet at Watt Plaza on Century Park East. The deal, which was signed on April 27, means that the plaza’s towers are now 90 percent leased.

Among the new tenants are accounting firm NSBN LLP; Resolution Economics; arbitration and resolution services firm JAMS; law office Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear; and Lieberman Software Corporation.

ICM Expands Corporate Headquarters in Century City

Mega talent and literary agency ICM Partners, already occupies three stories at Constellation Place. However, following a deal signed last month, the company will relocate from its 7th, 8th and 9th floor abode to the top five floors of the 35-story building.

Following the signing of the long-term lease, the company will now take over 112,000 square feet of the building and receive exclusive building-top signage. ICM isn’t expected to move to its new premises until this summer, following extensive renovations to the premises.

Along with panoramic views, the new space will feature a two-story sky lobby, outdoor terraces, state-of-the-art technology and a central, internal staircase connecting each of its five floors.

Peter A. Lauzon Law Office Moves to New Premises in
Century City

The Law Office of Peter A. Lauzon has moved into new premises at 2049 Century Park East, Suite 850. The new offices are next to the Annenberg Space for Photography.

According to an official release, the firm’s new office will accommodate the growth of its family law practice, after adding a fourth attorney to the company earlier this year.

The company previously shared office space with law firms Phillips Lerner and Wasser Cooperman Mandles just down the road at 2029 Century Park East.

“We are looking very forward to our move to our new office space, which will enable us to continue to provide our clients with the high level of service they have come to enjoy from us,” said Managing Partner Peter Lauzon.

Robust Q1 Stats for Century City’s Office Market

Century City’s 10.5 million-square-foot office submarket saw 130,625 square feet of positive absorption in the first quarter of 2016, according to a report by Transwestern.

The robust figures have been buoyed up by ICM’s decision to lease the top five stories of Constellation Place (see above story).

According to Transwestern, in Q 1 Century City’s 11 percent vacancy rate was slightly lower than the West L.A. average of 12 percent.
