Westwood Apartment Catches Fire Over the Weekend

LAFD make quick work of Sunday night fire

Over 30 firefighters put out a fire that broke out at a Westwood apartment over the weekend.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the fire was reported Sunday at 09:32 p.m. at 1511 S Bentley Avenue after heavy smoke was showing from the third floor of a three-story apartment building.

“32 firefighters quickly extinguished a patio fire on the third floor in 12 minutes,” the LAFD said.

According to the LAFD, there were no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation
